Job summary

St. Michael-Albertville School District's Middle School West in Albertville, MN, is seeking a Special Education Due Process Paraprofessional. The role focuses on maintaining due‑process records and performing clerical tasks within the special education office, under the supervision of the building principal and SPED leadership.

The position supports documentation for student services. The start date is November 2, 2026, with a 178‑day contract and a schedule of 7:30–2:30, 32.5 hours per week

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Excellent computer, communication, and interpersonal relationship skills necessary.
• One year of clerical experience preferred.
• Experience in the area of special education preferred, SpEdForms data management system highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for general due process record-keeping and clerical tasks in the school special education office.
• Work under on-site supervision of the building principal with direction from the director/assistant director of special education.
• Support district and building staff with documentation and filings for student services.
