Job summary

The Hawaii State Department of Education is seeking a qualified educator to provide training, consultation, and mentoring for teachers on evidence-based practices in academic subjects for students with disabilities. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required.
  • Hawaii teaching license or Emergency Hire Permit required on hire.
  • If not licensed, completion of Hawaii Teacher Education Program within three years of employment.
  • Active pursuit toward meeting Hawaii licensing requirements each year of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide training, consultation and mentoring for teachers on evidence-based practices in academic subjects for students with disabilities; travel to all schools within the Canoe Complex Area (K-12).
