Hawaiʻi State Department of Education is seeking qualified SPED teachers to join our team in Hawaii. The role requires a valid Hawaii Special Education license and demonstrated experience in K-12 SPED settings.

You will plan and facilitate IEP meetings, exercise independent judgment, and collaborate effectively with colleagues to meet deadlines in a busy school environment. If hired without completing a Teacher's Education Program, you have up to 3 years to obtain a valid Hawaii teaching license

Qualifications

• Valid Hawaii Special Education license or eligibility.
• Experience in K-12 SPED classroom settings.
• Ability to plan and facilitate IEP meetings and work with teams.
