Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in educational assessment.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate.
• Minimum two years teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess educational needs, learning styles, and program needs for K-12 students in special education.
• Administer formal and informal assessments and interpret results for ARD decisions.
• Prepare and participate in ARD meetings to develop/adjust IEPs and placement.
• Provide staff development and consult with teachers on IEP implementation.
• Coordinate evaluation programs and maintain required reports and records.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, students, and parents.
