Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive services to students with IEPs and collaborate with educators.
• Monitor student progress and facilitate Child-Study meetings.
• Assist general education teachers with instructional techniques for IEP students.

Skills

Strong knowledge of the general education curriculum

Successful experience working with a diverse population

Experience working with children who have disabilities

Experience in handling students with challenging behaviors

Knowledge of special education law

Education

Masters Degree in Education or related field

Valid Michigan certificate with Special Education endorsement
