Job summary

Pennwood Cyber Charter School is seeking a Special Populations Compliance Specialist to oversee operational, administrative, and compliance systems for special education services. You will manage evaluations, IEPs, timelines, and state reporting to support legal compliance and efficient operations.

The role coordinates across the special education lifecycle, supporting Child Find through evaluation, IEP implementation, and ongoing compliance monitoring, within standardized schoolwide systems.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of experience in education, compliance, school operations, or administrative systems management.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
• Strong written communication and digital literacy skills.
• Proficiency with digital systems and productivity platforms.

Responsibilities

• Monitor special education compliance timelines for evaluations, reevaluations, and IEP implementation.
• Track and elevate compliance risks to ensure actions occur within mandated timelines.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and audit-ready documentation for evaluations, IEPs, and related records.
• Coordinate scheduling and logistics for IEP and evaluation meetings, including interpreters when needed.
• Support state reporting, data reviews, and documentation audits.
