Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year of related experience preferred.
• Ability to work with students with diverse needs.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one or in small groups to assist students under the direction of the Special Education Teacher.
• Rotate groups periodically with teachers and other staff assistants.
• Assist with daily living activities and mobility support as needed.
• Record progress and input data on students' performance.
• Prepare materials and set up instructional activities.
• Support speech, reading, and math exercises as directed by therapists or teachers.
