Job summary

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of successful teaching experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Hold a current Utah Special Education Professional License or Associate Educator License (AEL).
• Applicants not licensed must obtain the required AEL before their employment start date.
• Candidates must maintain the appropriate Utah Special Education license throughout employment.
• Relevant teaching, student-support, or special education experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to use educational technology and digital tools effectively in the classroom.
• Employees are required to obtain an ESL Endorsement within four years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Observing classroom instructional practices, providing targeted post-observation feedback, supporting teachers with lesson planning for IEP goals and evaluation.
• Participating in professional learning community meetings, facilitating school- and district-wide professional development.
• Supporting IEP meetings and collaborating with teachers and administrators to evaluate formative assessment practices.
