• May assist students with physical needs, such as feeding, toileting, or wheelchair assistance.
• Assist in maintaining classroom calendars, bulletin boards, and room arrangements.
• Provide reinforcement as prescribed by teachers, therapists, or nurses.
• Provide hand-over-hand assistance for students as needed.
• Assist regular and special education students in mainstreaming when applicable.
• Record data on student performance and input information into the computer.
• May accompany students on community outings.
