Job summary

Albemarle County Public Schools seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Mountain View Primary School to support students with IEPs. The CNA will provide health services, monitor vitals, and assist with hygiene, feeding and mobility under teacher and nurse supervision.

Minimum one year CNA experience and CNA credentials are required; First Aid/CPR certification is preferred. Duties include field trips, charting, and collaboration with staff to ensure student safety and well‑being.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year experience as a CNA.
• Credentials as CNA and First Aid/CPR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow health plans and monitor student health needs.
• Take and record vital signs and report abnormal findings.
• Assist with hygiene, toileting, feeding, and positioning.
• Lift up to 80 pounds and assist with mobility as needed.
• Help implement medical protocols for students with IEPs.
