Applitrack is seeking a Special Education Assistant - CORE to support the classroom teacher and students with disabilities in a Seabourn setting. You will help implement programs, assist with self-help skills, behavior management, and instructional activities under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with children preferred.
• Ability to assist students with physical, medical, and emotional needs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teacher to prepare instructional materials and displays.
• Assist instructional program under supervision, adapting to student needs.
• Assist in keeping administrative records and required reports.
• Assist students with physical disabilities including transfers and positioning.
• Attend to students' personal care needs and meal/bathroom assistance.
• Help supervise students during lunch, bus, and playground duties.
• Provide orientation to substitute teachers and maintain confidentiality.
