Job summary

The Crosby Independent School District is seeking a Special Education Behavioral (PASS) Teacher at Crosby Middle School. The teacher will design and adapt instruction, develop IEPs, and collaborate with ARD teams to support emotional and behavioral growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required SPED endorsements for assignments.
• Knowledge of ARD and IEP goals and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with students, parents, and staff to develop IEPs through ARD.
• Implement instructional, therapeutic, or skill development programs.
• Plan lessons and modify curricula to meet student needs.
• Participate in ARD meetings and assess student growth.
• Maintain documentation of progress and compliance with IEPs.
• Use technology and varied instructional strategies to reach students.
