Job summary

Therapy Solutions Collective (TSCO) seeks a Special Education Behavior Support Paraprofessional in Albany, Oregon to provide instructional and behavioral support for students for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time, on-site role involves working with teachers, therapists, and staff to promote engagement, safety, and positive relationships within a inclusive classroom setting.

You will implement accommodations and behavior plans, collect progress data, and assist with daily activities,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or coursework in education preferred.
• Experience working with children or in an educational setting preferred.
• Ability to support students with diverse academic, behavioral, and physical needs.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families.
• Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude in a classroom environment.
• Follow teacher or clinician direction and contribute to a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional and behavioral support to students in classroom and small-group settings.
• Assist students with academic tasks, organization, and developing positive social interactions.
• Implement accommodations, modifications, and behavior plans under supervision.
• Offer one-on-one support to promote engagement and success.
• Supervise students during class activities, recess, lunch, and transitions.
• Collect data, track progress, and communicate observations to teachers and staff.
• Prepare classroom materials and help maintain an organized learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to foster a positive educational setting.
