Qualifications

• TB Test clearance & Department of Justice fingerprint clearance are needed.
• Experience working with students with disabilities is preferred.
• Excellent communication with parents and working in teams.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with students with disabilities on academic and behavioral needs.
• Attend special education trainings including B-SET training.
• Implement behavior support plans and IEP accommodations.
• Collaborate with the special education team and general education team.
• Track data and communicate to parents as needed.
• Lead social skills group or one-on-one instruction.
• Help with general supervision.

Skills

Experience working in an elementary and middle school setting

Knowledge of Positive Behavior Incentives and Support (PBIS)

Conversational and Written Proficiency in Spanish and English

Technology expertise in Google Docs
