Qualifications

• Applicant for associate vacancy must have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Qualified person will work with students that have multiple IEP goals that may be both Academic and Behavioral in the special education setting.

Responsibilities

• Support individual students or small groups to reinforce learning as outlined by certified staff.
• Monitor student work and supervise as assigned.
• Assist with clerical duties, classroom maintenance, and instructional tasks.
• Notify staff of any problems or important information about a student.
• Supervise students during class and field trips.
• Assist with non-instructional duties (snack time, toileting, clothing routines).
• Support additional duties as directed by the teacher.
