Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is hiring to support students with intensive behavioral needs within in-district classrooms and standalone schools.

You will work one-on-one with assigned students, implement behavior support plans, collect data, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet IEP goals. The role emphasizes safe, compassionate intervention, de-escalation when needed, and effective communication with families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Experience working in an educational setting implementing behavioral interventions for students with intensive behavioral needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in a setting with diverse students.
• One-on-one support to meet goals in the IEP.
• Assist in development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Implement behavior support plans and record data on progress and incidents.
• Utilize behavior support and de-escalation techniques.
• Ensure safety and well-being of students and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
• Communicate effectively with parents.
