Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, is seeking an assistant teacher to support classroom learning for K-12 students with special needs.

You will work with a diverse group of students in small groups, assist the teacher with instruction, monitor progress, and implement behavior support strategies while ensuring a safe and nurturing learning environment. Competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college experience or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience working with students with special needs in an educational setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher with small group instruction and individualized support.
• Monitor student behavior and progress, and communicate with parents.
• Implement behavior support strategies and assist with assessments.
• Supervise students during transitions and hands-on activities.
• Support, document, and track student growth toward academic and social-emotional goals.

Education
