Job summary

Spectrum 360 A NJ Non Profit Corp. is seeking a Support Staff/Instructional Assistant for Wedgwood Elementary in New Jersey. The role involves providing academic and physical support to students, especially those with disabilities, under the classroom teacher's guidance.

The position requires a High School Graduate, experience with children, and strong English communication skills. Candidates should be able to perform physical duties and be willing to train in CPR and Crisis Prevention.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate required.
• Experience working with children.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English (spoken and written).
• Ability to demonstrate basic computer/tech skills on devices.
• Ability to work with other staff to foster a positive learning environment.
• Ability to work with students with various disabilities.
• Must be able to stand, walk, run, reach, stoop, kneel and crouch.
• Must be able to lift or move up to 40 pounds.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Willing to be trained in CPR and Crisis Prevention.
• Preferred experience with school-age students and disabilities.
