Job summary

Central Bucks School District is seeking a Special Education Assistant - Instructional at Kutz Elementary School for the 2026/2027 school year. The role is full-time for 10 months with exact hours to be determined. Compensation starts at $20.84 per hour.

Candidates will support students in IEPs, including low incidence autistic support, guided by professional staff. Minimum 2 years of college coursework or an Associate Degree is preferred; a High School Diploma or GED is required at hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years college coursework or an Associate Degree preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required at time of hire.
• Must work as a team member, exercise good judgment, communicate with students and adults effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support students’ individualized education programs in special and regular education settings as directed by professional staff.
• Utilize crisis prevention techniques; possible restraint as a last resort.
• Training provided via CBSD.
