Job summary

FullBloom is seeking an assistant teacher to support a student with intensive behavioral needs in a K-12 setting. You will implement individualized behavior plans, monitor progress, and work closely with teachers, specialists, and families to promote academic and social-emotional growth.

Responsibilities include one-on-one support, de-escalation when needed, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team within SESI’s program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience implementing behavioral interventions in educational settings preferred.
• Familiarity with PBIS or CASE-like frameworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with an assigned student to meet IEP goals.
• Assist development/modification of behavior support plans.
• Implement behavior support plans and track data.
• Apply de-escalation techniques and crisis management as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure plan consistency.
• Supervise students during transit to and from locations.
• Provide personal care support as needed by the student.
• Communicate effectively with parents and school staff.
