Job summary

FullBloom, through SESI, seeks an assistant teacher to support K-12 students requiring additional educational supports. You will work under the teacher to deliver small-group instruction and individualized services, monitor student behavior, and track progress using SESI’s CASE PBIS framework.

You will collaborate with teachers and related staff to create daily plans, adapt materials, and provide accommodations to meet diverse student needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college experience or bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
• Experience working with students with special needs in an educational setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students from varying backgrounds.
• Lead small group instruction implementing the SESI academic rotational model.
• Partner with the teacher to provide customized behavior and academic support and conducting assessments.
• Reinforce students’ learning and progress using data to determine appropriate materials and tasks.
• Supervise students and ensure safety during transitions and activities.
