Job summary

Reynolds SD 7 is seeking an Educational Assistant for Reynolds Middle School in Fairview, Oregon. This full-time role supports Special Education services across Life Skills and related programs, working under certified teachers to assist instruction and student supervision.

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or equivalent.
• Equivalent of 2 years of college (AA or 60 credits) or passing Work Keys / PARA Pro.
• Multicultural and/or bilingual candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher in instruction and support of students at varying levels.
• Instruct students in groups or individually.
• Monitor and document student progress and provide input on lesson planning.
• Assist with grading, preparing teaching materials, and other tasks.
• Bilingual duties may include interpretation/translation for students and families.
• Ensure safety and adapt to students' personal care needs as assigned.
