The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid Texas Educational Aide Certificate, and pass PAC test with 48 college hours; bilingual ability preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Texas Educational Aide Certificate or equivalent.
• PAC Test (No Child Left Behind) / 48 college hours required.
• Bilingual test may be required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher with routine classroom management duties.
• Assist in preparing instructional materials.
• Maintain classroom environment and supplies.
• Assist students with homework, tests, and assignments.
• Modify assignments and tests as needed per instruction.
• Maintain records and files for each student.
• Communicate students' needs to faculty and staff.
• Help maintain a safe environment for students and staff.
• Assist with behavior management plans for students.
• Assist with loading/unloading school buses.
• Participate in activities involved with physical education.
