Job summary

Tomball High School, part of Tomball ISD, is seeking a Special Education Aide/PASS for the 2026-2027 school year to support students with disabilities and assist the lead teacher with instructional programs.

Responsibilities include aiding in self-help skills, behavior management, and following the classroom plan under the supervision of a certified teacher. Requires an associate degree or 48 college hours; Texas Educational Aide certificate recommended upon hire.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 48 college hours or equivalent
• Texas Educational Aide certificate recommended by district on hire
• Ability to work with children with disabilities
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and students

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing classroom programs and self-help skills
• Support instructional and behavioral management under guidance of certified teacher
• Work under supervision of principal and teacher to support students with disabilities
