This Educational Aide position requires a high school diploma or GED, and either two years of experience or college coursework with child growth emphasis, plus recommended by the Superintendent.

The person will assist in instructional activities, prepare materials, grade papers, and maintain records while upholding confidentiality

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Two years experience as Educational Aide, or 15 college hours with emphasis on child growth and development.
Demonstrated proficiency in a specialized skill area as approved by the district.
Experience working with students or parents as approved by the Superintendent.
Recommended by the Superintendent.

Responsibilities

Serve as instructional aide and assist teachers in the instructional process.
Work with administration and carry out duties and responsibilities as policies require.
Perform clerical tasks: maintaining records, operating copy machines, etc.
Participate in staff development as assigned.
Respect confidentiality and maintain professional relationships with staff and students.
Assist in instructional media preparation and materials sent home with students.
Grade papers, record grades, and file papers.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
