Job summary

Clermont County ESC is seeking a Special Education Aide to support paraprofessional roles in our district’s special needs classrooms. The role includes implementing IEPs, providing individualized and small-group support, and aiding with daily tasks to foster an inclusive learning environment.

The position emphasizes collaboration with teachers, families, and staff, with a focus on student success and positive behavioral strategies. Summers off with stretch pay, and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• College coursework in education or related field preferred.
• Experience with individuals with disabilities or in educational settings is preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Special Education Teacher to implement IEPs.
• Provide one-on-one or small group academic, social, and behavioral support.
• Assist with classroom management and behavior interventions as needed.
• Support daily tasks, personal care, and mobility assistance as required.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to maintain a positive learning environment.
