Job summary

Clermont County ESC is seeking a Special Education Aide to support paraprofessional roles in our district’s special needs classrooms. The role includes implementing IEPs, providing individualized and small-group support, and aiding with daily tasks to foster an inclusive learning environment.

The position emphasizes collaboration with teachers, families, and staff, with a focus on student success and positive behavioral strategies. Summers off with stretch pay, and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• College coursework in education or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Special Education Teacher to implement IEPs.

Position Overview: We are seeking passionate and qualified individuals to serve as paraprofessionals in our special needs classrooms. Ideal candidates will support the Special Education Teacher in implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs; provide one-on-one or small group support to students in academic, social, and behavioral settings; assist with classroom management and behavior interventions as needed; support students with daily tasks and activities, including personal care and mobility assistance; and collaborate with the teacher and other team members to create a positive and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent;
• college coursework preferred;
