Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School Aide in Euclid, OH. This contract-full-time role involves working with students requiring instructional and behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department.

Pay is $19 per hour, with a 35-hour workweek. The position focuses on supporting students and assisting with personal mobility and therapeutic care needs as directed by health professionals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist students requiring instructional and/or behavioral support under supervision of the special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee.
• Provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional.
