Qualifications

• Must be highly qualified, or pass ParaPro test to become highly qualified.
• Ability to communicate and work with handicapped students.
• Ensure safety of students.
• Assist in necessary physical care for health and welfare of students.
• Maintain confidentiality of information.
• Ability to work effectively with others.
• Ability to communicate ideas clearly both orally and in writing.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Superintendent/Designee.
• Must hold a minimum of a high school diploma.
• Meet Ohio Dept of Education criteria to obtain an educational aide permit.
