Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required as per Kentucky law.
• Some experience working with children in organized settings is preferred.
• 64 college hours or passing the Kentucky Para-educators Exam may be required.

Responsibilities

• Tutor individuals or small groups, reinforce instruction as directed by the teacher.
• Maintain records of student progress and participate on instructional teams.
• Prepare and organize lessons and administer tests per guidelines.
• Assist with health and safety practices and supervise students during activities.
• Provide classroom materials and support to the teacher as needed.
• Assist with lab supervision and manage supplies inventory.
