Responsibilities

• Tutor individuals or small groups; monitor student progress.
• Work as part of instructional team; participate in remediation teams.
• Prepare and organize lessons; score tests according to guidelines.
• Assist in determining English proficiency of identified students.
• Administer diagnostic tests and record results.
• Monitor student behavior and report progress.
• Perform routine clerical duties and maintain records.
• Support teacher by setting up work areas and distributing supplies.
• Supervise students in labs and supervise lunchroom/playground activities.
• Participate in meetings and in-service training.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
