Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional to join our team in supporting students with IEPs in a local school setting. This role emphasizes collaboration with teachers, staff, and families to help students reach their goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Experience working with K-12 children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute support in servicing the Individualized Education Plans (IEP) for each of the students in your care
• Communicate with other staff and family members about each student's progress and struggles
• Use individualized reinforcement techniques to keep each student on the path toward greatness
• Support the classroom teacher in the areas of behavior reinforcement and academics
• Create a safe, productive classroom environment
