Qualifications

• Education/Certification requirements include an Associate’s degree or 48 hours of college, or higher.
• Educational Aide Certificate from the State Board for Educator Certification recommended by the district upon hire.
• Experience working with children is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing for physical and instructional needs of students with disabilities in a special education setting.
• Assist in implementing classroom programs including self-help, behavior management, and instruction.
• Work under supervision of the principal and a certified teacher.
