Job summary

The Weld RE-4 School District is seeking a Special Education Aide II (Part-Time) for Orchard Elementary School. You will support regular and special education teachers to help students reach educational goals and maintain a safe, positive learning environment.

You will reinforce curriculum through small-group or one-on-one instruction, assist with lesson modifications as directed, supervise students across campus, and help with basic clerical tasks as needed.

Summary

Reinforce curriculum, activities, and/or skills with small group of students or one-on-one, and collaborate with teacher to implement lesson plans and/or to determine appropriate modifications and/or accommodations for individual students. Supervise students in various school locations and activities. Supervise student behavior and safety, and implement discipline and emergency procedures as needed. May assist teacher with clerical and organizational duties.
