Job summary

Ysleta Independent School District seeks a paraprofessional to support students with disabilities inside and outside the classroom. You will assist with IEP implementation, behavior management, and instructional activities under supervision of a certified teacher.

Responsibilities include lifting/personal care, testing support, materials prep, and collaboration with SPED staff to monitor progress. 187-day assignment with district training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 48 college hours completed.
• SBEC paraprofessional certification or eligible to obtain.
• CPR, Heimlich maneuver and NCI training within district calendar.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with instructional activities and supports for students with disabilities.
• Support implementation of IEP goals, behavioral interventions and instruction.
• Assist with testing, materials preparation and equipment maintenance.
• Provide personal care and lifting assistance as required.
