Job summary

SPRING HS 9TH GRD CTR in Spring, TX is hiring a Special Education Aide for the 2026-2027 school year. The aide will assist teachers in supervising and supporting students with special needs, and contribute to instructional activities under supervision.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma, 48 college hours or passing NCLB tests, and Educational Aide II certification (or willingness to obtain). Preferred: 1 year of related experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma from an accredited institution.
• 48 hours of college coursework from an accredited college or university or tests.
• Educational Aide II Certificate (or be willing to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher in preparation of instructional materials and classroom.
• Assist teacher in adapting classroom instruction to support and/or reinforce student learning.
• Assist teacher in preparing/maintaining records/reports required by Federal, State or local laws/regulations.
• Assist teacher in maintaining order and discipline in the classroom.
• Assist in individual and small group instruction.
• Participate in staff development and faculty meetings as required.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
