Tomball ISD's Decker Prairie Elementary School is seeking a Special Education Aide/Adaptive Behavior to support students with disabilities. You will assist in implementing programs, help with self-help and behavior management, and work under the direction of a certified teacher.

The role is full-time, 183 days, with a wage of $16.47 per hour. Minimum requirements include an associate degree or 48 college hours, and an Educational Aide Certificate is recommended.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or 48 college hours or meet formal assessment requirements.
• Educational Aide Certificate recommended by the district on hire.
• Experience working with children with disabilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing classroom programs for students with disabilities.
• Support self-help, behaviour management and instructional activities.
• Work under supervision of principal and certified teacher.
