Qualifications

• Master's degree in Gifted Education and certification required.
• Louisiana Teaching Certificate must be valid.
• Certification in Academically Gifted Education required.

Responsibilities

• Design an individualized education program (IEP) meeting state guidelines.
• Develop and implement daily lesson plans tailored to gifted students.
• Communicate with parents, teachers, and administrators to plan IEPs.
• Administer and interpret assessments to track student progress.
• Maintain records and ensure confidentiality per policies.
• Attend meetings and participate in professional development.
