Job summary

The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring is seeking Educational Therapists or SPED certified teachers with experience in Math or ELA intervention for grades 8–12. Candidates should be versed in EF, study skills, and ASD supports.

Position is for experienced tutors, offering flexible scheduling and a 1099 contract. Responsibilities include coaching, using assessments to plan for neurodivergent students, and delivering 60‑minute sessions at the learning center, home,

Qualifications

• Experience with EF (executive function) based learning, SPED, or ASD.
• SPED certification preferred.
• Strong skills in subject-matter planning and lesson design.
• Available 3–12 hours per week.
• Ideal candidates have >3 years of teaching or intervention experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient education coaching combined with Math or Literacy tutoring.
• Use assessments to create dynamic study plans for neurodivergent students.
• Tutoring sessions take place at our learning center, at the client's home, or at a library.
• Sessions generally last 60 minutes.
• Assessments are provided; supplemental curricula may be used with our resources.
