Qualifications

• Experience working with children in school or childcare settings.
• Strong written and verbal communication to support team and families.
• Ability to support students with various education plans (IEP) and adapt instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teacher to include the student in all aspects of the school day.
• Implement academic and social programming as developed by the team.
• Implement accommodations and modifications outlined on the IEP.
• Carry out behavior plans and assist in data collection.
• Promote social interactions and assist with daily living skills as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality about all student information.
