Job description

Special Education Teacher for a 36-week contract in Round Rock, Texas. Responsible for creating and implementing individualized lesson plans, managing classroom activities, and collaborating with staff and families to support students with special needs. Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas State Teaching Certification in Special Education or equivalent.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with students in a school setting.

• Familiarity with behavioral strategies, Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and classroom management.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families.

• Background check, fingerprinting, and compliance with district-specific clearance requirements.

• Ability to adhere to school policies and safety protocols.

• Comfortable working in a dynamic educational environment.
