The Collaborative for Educational Services (CES) is hiring a Special Education Teacher for Worcester County House of Corrections West Boylston, supporting CHC youth up to age 22. This is a full-time, 185-day contract for the 2026/2027 school year.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Moderate Disabilities (5-12) or actively pursuing certification.
• Experience or strong interest in supporting at-risk youth.
• Patient, adaptable, and trauma-informed instruction.
• Collaborative mindset – working with behavioral/clinical staff.
• Commitment to equitable, student-centered education.

Responsibilities

• Teach Special Education to youth up to age 22 in CHC programs.
• Maintain small class sizes (≤7) with on-site behavioral support.
• Provide patient, trauma-informed instruction and individualized supports.
• Collaborate with behavioral and clinical staff.
• Promote equitable, student-centered education.
