Collaborative for Educational Services in Taunton, MA is hiring a Special Education Teacher to support DYS programs at Southeast Center School. This full‑time position offers a structured classroom with seven or fewer students, dedicated behavioral staff, and a 185‑day contract for 2026/2027.

You will teach in a low‑distraction, phone‑free environment with built‑in daily prep time, licensure and MTEL fee support, and opportunities for professional development within a mission‑driven nonprofit

Qualifications

• Licensed in Moderate Disabilities (5–12), or actively pursuing certification.
• Experience or strong interest in supporting at‑risk youth in alternative settings.
• Patient, adaptable, and trauma‑informed approach to instruction.
• Collaborative mindset — comfortable working alongside behavioral and clinical staff.
• Commitment to equitable, student‑centered education.
