The State of South Carolina seeks an educator to deliver high-quality instruction for children with diverse needs in Spartanburg. The role requires collaboration with the principal and families to support child and family outcomes through innovative curricula and thorough assessments.

Responsibilities include regular communication with parents and the school, conducting two in-class conferences and two home visits yearly, and maintaining compliant records according to state standards.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree with SC Teacher Certificate in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or closely related field.
• Experience with childcare in a structured educational environment, preferably with deaf/hard-of-hearing or blind/visually impaired students.
• Equivalent of the SC Infant-Toddler Credential; communication modalities may be required depending on placement.

Responsabilidades

• Provide best practice instruction, innovative curricula, and assessments to meet child and family outcomes.
• Communicate regularly with parents and the principal about all aspects of the child's development.
• Conduct at least two parent conferences in the classroom and two home visits during the school year.
• Maintain current records per SC standards and other government/agency standards.
