Job summary

Clarifi Staffing is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time, school-based position in Washington for the 2026–2027 academic year. The role focuses on tailoring instruction to diverse learners, developing and implementing IEPs, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.

The ideal candidate holds a Washington teaching certificate with a Special Education endorsement (or eligibility) and has experience in resource, inclusion, or self-contained

Qualifications

Must hold a valid Washington State teaching certificate with an appropriate Special Education endorsement or be eligible for certification.
Experience in resource, inclusion, or self-contained settings is preferred.
Strong communication, organization, classroom management, instructional planning, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Adapt curriculum, assignments, and assessments to address learning needs.
Develop, implement, and maintain IEPs.
Monitor student progress and adjust instructional approaches.
Support positive behavior and inclusive classroom practices.
Participate in multidisciplinary planning and student support meetings.
Provide individualized and small-group instruction aligned with IEP objectives.
