Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health's Mapleton School in Malvern, PA is hiring a Teacher Assistant to support students in an educational environment focused on behavior interventions and PBIS. You will ensure student safety, help maintain structured classrooms, collaborate with Special Education Teachers, and participate in data collection and progress monitoring.

Schedule is Mon-Fri, 8:00 am-4:00 pm, 52-week position; compensation ranges from $41,600 to $47,424, with benefits eligibility after

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree in Special Education preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and/or behavior disorders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure student safety.
• Assist in establishing classroom environments conducive to maximum learning by maintaining structure and guiding students to socially appropriate behaviors.
• Collaborate with Special Education Teachers to implement skill acquisition and behavioral reduction programs individually and in small groups.
• Perform ongoing data collection and record‑keeping as directed by Special Education Teacher.
