Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking a Teacher Assistant for Mapleton School in Malvern, PA. The role involves supporting students with behavioral interventions and PBIS within a multi-disciplinary educational setting.

You will assist teachers in implementing skill acquisition and behavioral plans, collect data, and help maintain a safe, structured learning environment. Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm; salary range $41,600–$47,424 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Special Education preferred
• Experience with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities or behavior disorders preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure student safety.
• Assist in establishing classroom environments that promote maximum learning, maintaining structure and guiding students toward socially appropriate behaviors.
• Work with Special Education Teachers to implement skill acquisition and behavioral reduction programs individually and in small groups.
• Perform ongoing data collection and record keeping as directed by the Special Education Teacher.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree in Special Education preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and/or behavior disorders preferred.

Benefits

• Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 8 am – 4 pm (52‑week position).
• Compensation: $41,600 – $47,424 annually, based upon experience.
