Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist students in following classroom routines, staying on task, and completing assignments with increasing independence.
• Clarify, rephrase, and repeat instructions as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers in weekly lesson planning.
• Differentiate instruction and implement academic and behavioral accommodations.
• Collaborate with school staff on behavioral support.
• Implement behavior support plans and collect data; reinforce positive behavior.
• Use ABA and CPI strategies to prevent and modify challenging behavior.
• Assist with fine motor tasks and mobility as needed.
• Provide one-to-one support for students with behavioral challenges.
• Facilitate academic, emotional, and social skills per IEP and Behavior Support Plan.
• Collect academic and behavioral data.
• Attend in-service training sessions.
• Use software to monitor timelines, service delivery, and data collection.
