Beaufort County School District seeks a Special Education Paraprofessional for the 2026-2027 school year at COOSA Elementary. Under supervision, you will support students with disabilities, help implement IEPs, and assist in classroom activities and supervision during meals and breaks.

The role requires knowledge of disabilities, ability to follow directions, and a proactive, team-oriented approach. Training may include CPR, nonviolent crisis intervention, and other district-required sessions.

Competenze

• Instructional assistants must meet Paraprofessional Highly Qualified status.
• Two-year college degree or credits required; ParaPro or equivalent acceptable.

• Implement classroom programs, self-help, behavior management, and instruction under supervision.
