Job summary

Farmington Public Schools is seeking a part-time paraprofessional to support students with disabilities. You will assist teachers, work with individuals or small groups to reinforce motor, academic, social, self-care or communication skills, and help adapt instructional strategies to each student's needs.

Responsibilities include assisting with physical support for students, including transfers and positioning, under teacher direction, and contributing to a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in an educational setting.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; AA degree or 60 credits or para pro test.
